Water resistant
Surplus paste can be removed by dapping with a moist sponge.
Washable
Soiling can be removed using a mild cleaner or soft brush.
Extra-washable
Soiling (except oil, fat etc.) can be removed using a sponge and soapy water.
Scrubbable
Soiling can be removed using a mild cleaner or soft brush.
Free match
The pattern repeat does not need to be observed.
Straight match
The pattern repeat on adjoining strips must be at the same height.
Offset match
Pattern on adjoining stips must be offset by half a repeat.

Adequate lightfastness

Every second strip must be hung upside down.
Peelable
(pulls off without wetting) When redecorating, the top layer of the wallcovering can be pulled off without wetting. The backing layer remains on the wall as lining paper.
Duplex
High-quality embossed wallpaper in two paper layers. Embossing remains intact after hanging.
Dry strippable
When redecorating, the wallcovering can be completely peeled off the wall without wetting.
